We seek to promote unity within and among churches of Jesus Christ across boundaries of race, class, culture, age, and gender. We believe that this unity requires humility, careful listening, and the commitment to address injustice and other barriers that have divided us. This unity is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus, who by his death removed the barrier between us and our holy God. It is also rooted in the (small g) gospel that Paul preached, that is, the good news of Gentile inclusion - the "dividing wall of hostility" between hostile people groups has been abolished through the cross.
