Meetings are held on the last Friday of each month from noon to 1:30pm Pacific Time. We do not have a December meeting.
See our Facebook page for announcements and topics of upcoming meetings.
Currently we are meeting on the Zoom platform. The meeting link is available in a notice sent to our email list, and on our Facebook page.
From July 2020 through August 2021 we held a series of Zoom conversations titled "Learning from Black Pastors." These recordings are on YouTube but are unlisted. If you are interested in viewing any of them, you may request a link by emailing dave@mosaixpdx.org.
Looking ahead, we want to focus on two major challenges for the health of Jesus' church:
Emphasizing one of these while neglecting the other will not produce the desired outcome. Only bodies of maturing, reproducing disciples, demonstrating solidarity in love, will provide credible testimony of our Lord to the culture around us.
We at Mosaix PDX exist primarily to address the unity challenge, and we intend to do that more explicitly and purposefully than ever in 2023. At the same time, we want to remind and encourage one another to be pursuing the discipleship mandate in each of our home churches.
All meetings are on Zoom, last Friday of the month, 12:00-1:30pm PT. See the list of past meetings below. You may request access to any of these recordings through our contact page.
Currently we are in a series of sessions (began Feb 2023) we call "Stories that Shaped Us, Stories that Changed Us." Each month we will hear stories from participants (planned in advance), especially focusing on what they have learned about two major roots of unity: the Gospel and disciplemaking. We welcome volunteer storytellers! Again, get in touch through our contact page for more info or to volunteer.
